Minting

KESY minting is an institutional-grade process requiring a minimum deposit of KES 1 million, where users fund reserves invested in CBK Treasury bills for a 1:1 peg, with a 0.1% processing fee deducted (e.g., 990,000 KESY issued for KES 1 million deposited). The restriction period ensures regulatory compliance and reserve allocation, after which tokens are minted to the user's whitelisted wallet via Hedera HTS, enabling immediate use for payments, trading, or staking.
